Betrayal

i lie alone, a helpless drone
suppressed by all the sadness
I've stayed awake, a big mistake
to think about the madness
that drives me crazy, my dreams are hazy
a promise one had made
within my soul, there lies a hole
the love within me slain
in disbelief, lies so much grief
a puzzle piece was taken
a closest friend, until the end
whose words had been forsaken
the truth is lie, within my eyes
i see now is a fact
a heart is broken, a pointless token
but my mind remains intact
but then i fear, no comfort here
a demon may return
to accept the fact, a common act
as human, i will burn
you cause me pain, and try to gain
a sense of self remorse
within my head, you're so misled
held back by unknown force
then you cried, of course i tried
no to cripple from this spell
within a thought, for me to rot
and go on living in this hell...
