A Chiseled Heart of Ice

By prodigy789

anger to chisel a heart carved from ice
With a darkness inside unleashed at a price
tap on the anger... go ahead... chisel away
you'll only find hatred unleashed from decay
you've worked for the shadows... for the darkness within
now prepare for your sorrow about to begin

you've chipped and you've chiseled me down to my core
way past the ice that was guarding the door
that leads to the anger and sorrow inside
brace yourself deary and prepare for the ride
for it will be long and quite full of pain
why do you ask? for I have nothing to gain

rather to lose would be what i have not
nothing from nobody was my first thought
and then as i hold your neck tight in my grip
something inside me would not let it slip
you've chiseled the ice... a sculpture so beautiful...
your art will live on... even after your funeral...
