Alone

To be all alone
even while in a crowd
when I'm here at home
my thoughts seem so loud

To have all these feelings
and not know what to do
To search for the healings
that might bring me through

But these things that I look for
they do me no good
Not found in a book
though I wish that they could

In the end I descend
to a worthless, dank pit
where I come to defend
all my hope in a fit

what happens to me
can never be told
never the same
