Infedelities and Cyanide

By Ultimate Mistake

Infidelities and cyanide are distractions from the truth we try to hide.
The false world we laugh in evaporates when your imagination fails to operate.
All dancing stops when the singer shoots himself on stage.
All feelings die when the poet burns this page.
Stay in silence when I kiss you on your lips while yoou're holding your boyfriend's hand and our eys stare with absence.
The grass in the sky sparkles behind grey clouds.
Emotions are screaming, but no one ever hears a sound.
Hopelessness is conveyed from this mouth from which it's made.
Words can't be more hollow as they esacape.
They float in this sea of love and melancholy.
Infidelities and cyanide are ways we avoid saying good-bye.
The joke is on me and you can't stop laughing.
Your hands are sewn shut, yet your hands are free.
This false world I am left in evaporates to keep its own integrity.
The portrait melts right off the canvas.
Paint runs cold as it uncovers the reason for existance.
A chest breaks out in song but the heart is terribly off beat!
