Oceans

By JadedHeart

My heart beats ever so gently, Since you have been away,My mind still argues finding ways, That I could have made you stay. When our souls first met, It was so intense so fast. Now I find it hard to fathom, That ‘we’ now live within the past.Every time I close my eyes, My whole world begins to ache.Dreams so vividly tormenting, Yet still I do not wish to wake. You belong to me, my love, As the ocean meets the shore.Still it matters not what I feel,As I no longer belong to you anymore.
