Such a Tragic Happening

By Dethuntillite

Feeling a lean towards a shade of black
The continual tipping of proverbial scales adjusting eights at a time                   Endless years of raking ash off covered walkways                                             Flammable breath constantly firing into glass holes                                     Filtering away my home in this common world affair                             Transferance of weight left to right apparently noticed                                  Related carnival goers shooting sharp glances at a clown on break

THE LOOKS THEY GIVE!!!!!!!!!!!

Unwanted pity exported from peeping eyes                                                         Assumptions of comprehension only attainable on oblivious faces                      Self-crucifying rhetoric spat from pious mouths
All safehouses having been burned
A sad smile waiting to be cut from the face of the world                                        It wasn't supposed to be this way. Not like this...Oh God! not like this
How else can one really describe such a tragic happening
