“Fear”

By Iz2cold

Creeping within, the shadows of my thoughts

Lurking through, the darkness of my heart

Reflected upon, the rage within

Exists a savage, tearing me apart

Bring down the walls, which held it back

Opening the gates, which locked it away

Breaking through and taking it stand

My fear is born, my death it craves

In a constant struggle, never ending

Continually fighting, breaking down

No future exists, ending unhappily

No ever after, as I slowly drown

Within my rage, a sea of fear

Mountains of doubt, an empty world

A heart so cold, eyes so bleak

A soul as dead, a story untold

Shattered dreams, broken vows

Empty words, arid tears

A pain so vicious, so cruel to be

All came true, my fear is free….
