Pazuzu Bits

By Virgils Vigil

Pieces of a shadow

Found in a plastic bag

Bring another season

Of flesh hung up like rags

Gripping with its talons

Stretching out far its wings

Conductor of famine

The hymn the locust sings

Quaintly it seems to wear

A solemnly stone sneer

Commanding with its hand

Abhorrent specters’ cheer

Aberrant will shall rise

Conformity shall fall

 Demon of wheat and wind

Shall decimate them all
