In a box... with doubt

By silentnomore

I'm stuck in a box forever,
I can not cut it or tear it down,
I'm afraid to even try to get out,
or take a solid step on the ground.

My world revolves around this box,
A turtle within it's shell,
A fire from the inside out,
An everlasting internal hell.

No one will understand,
Does anyone even care?
I live in doubt within my shell,
with a heart I cannot bare.

Let me out I simply asked
But no words exiled the crowd,
So IĀ remain in this box,
And foreverĀ I live in doubt.
