Travelers

By Woes of a Succubus

He opens his arms wide,

And beckons me to come along,

My past has died,

I remeber this song,

We danced to it so long ago,

It was you that loved me so.

Your eyes regard me with fond adoring,

And my spirit begins loudly imploring.

Eyes that call to me and hypnotize,

Cause me to swoon and fantasize.

I'm your slave forever,

Now don't leave my side,

And I will endeavour,

To let you be my guide.

I'll follow you,

Into the darkest day,

To places I never knew,

Take my hand and lead the way.

I'm your dark angel and vampiric mate,

Together we possess every mystic trait.

We two joined as one body and soul,

And death will never take it's toll.

To live forever they say is fable,

And those who believe it,

Well, their minds are unstable.

But we will laugh at the ignorant ones,

And bask in centuries of setting suns.

And travel the earth as two undead,

Whose love grows with every step we tread.
