Dancing in the Rain

By Woes of a Succubus

I let my mind wander,

As I sit and silently ponder,

Those eyes that seem fonder,

Than any I've ever known.

Through these thick walls,

And down the drear halls,

An illusive voice that calls,

My darkened spirit begins to awake.

Oh the sweet rose,

Yes I remember those,

In splendid blood-red clothes,

The fragrance to me is sweet.

Open my dreamy eyes,

That I may see the soft grey skies,

My heart takes off and flies,

And now I'm dancing in the rain.
