Pyre

By maliceman

I burn right through my skin
You insist that i do it again
I burn straight through my soul
So black and crippled

3rd degree burn
3rd degree hate
Heart is red and blistered
Lets leave it all to fate
Douse me in gasoline
Give me a light
Make sure i am flammable
before you ignite

Stop, drop, and roll
Or stand here and burn
The first is common sense
The latter is what i yearn

The fire fades
The ashes drift away
No more pain
No more shame
3rd degree burn
3rd degree hate
Heart is red and blistered
Lets leave it all to fate
Douse me in gasoline
Give me a light
Make sure i am flammable
before you ignite

Stop, drop, and roll
Or stand here and burn
The first is common sense
The latter is what i yearn

(scream)
