A Black Bread Basket

By Virgils Vigil

Feed my intoxication

With chemical castration

Sea of cerulean butane

Fed from rusty plain sparks

Bury me in the forest

Silken structure slid softly

Into the razor’s sorest blade

Dreams of emerald eyes

Sip some other lover’s milk

Dripping from the goat skin shelf

Flowing down your palm and wrist

The embryo catalyst

Boiling with desire

Scarlet streaming fire

Lights up the horizon

Blood soaked spirits wizen

Discarded desire

Decimated through fire

Where dead hopes and lost dreams lay

Onyx ash of bleak dismay
