Valley of the Gates of Kings (The Great and Majestic Necropolis)

By Virgils Vigil

Deep in darkness

In deep despair

They lay underground

Inside their lair

How many among us

Can truly know

To what height their knowledge

Could possibly grow

Ages of misfortune

Coupled with sorrow

There’s a wealth of experience

That we borrow

Whenever one speaks

Into our hearts

A deeper bond

Is where it starts

To see behind

Misguided lies

Wear your golden masks proud

It’s no disguise

You are all Gods

Buried beneath the sand

Of this society

So weak and so bland

So seek their wisdom

Be not afraid

Of Dark Master’s

Words of the trade

Open the tomb

Anubis’ laughter rings

When you unleash the power of the Gates

In the Valley of the Kings
