the death of positive
By noniceguy
the death of positive
to live is to die
look deep into my eyes
murder lies within
now, let the fun begin
no longer can i stand
to hear my fellow man
give hand unto your deeds
your passions, your needs
your smile drips sarcastic
your manner -- plastic
it’s fantastic the things you do
positive, i hate you
i want to be inside you
and with cold steel divide you
you tried to make me like you
but, i can never be like you
i will not smile when my heart is sick
will not be fake when i feel toxic
it’s tragic that you put on a show
to disguise your tears from everyone, so
the time has come to finish you, dear
to put to bed all your fear
we hear you as you leave this world and now i give
you the death of positive.

Very intriguing. I envisioned many things while reading this poem...lover's gone astray, corrupt politicians betraying the public with lies, the disguise that everyone wears so they don't have to feel what the world has to offer. I enjoy reading works that can be interpreted in many ways. Writings that work the mind are my favorite. Great job. Write on.
