To Kiss Death

By pureevil8

There is a morbid and dark place in my mind,

It is there I call my home,

The demons run wild through fields of ash,

As the moon casts its blood red aura upon a black sky.

There she waits for me,

As she always has,

Just beyond the reach of human hands,

Inside the circle of stone,

And upon that same satin stained table,

She begs for my return.

Lazily leering,

Licking her lips so lusciously,

Luring me into her,

Glaring emptily with green eyes of love.

Her black satin dress flows like a river,

Caressing every curve of her soft pale flesh.

I can see her lips moving so softly,

Still wet with the wine she drinks,

As scarlet as the blood of a virgin,

Every word teases me as if I was a boy.

The very movement of her body,

Makes me tremble deep inside.

She moves toward me,

Almost floating across the ground,

The sweet smell of jasmine accompanies her,

And I am instantly powerless.

As she reaches for my hand,

Her skin is so soft and cold,

She will surely take me away,

Away to ecstasy,

Away to passion,

Away to a bliss beyond this earth,

And I am prepared.

She pulls me in close to her,

So close I can feel her breath upon me,

Just one kiss,

One kiss from this goddess in black,

One taste from those satin lips,

For that I would surely die.

She leans in toward me slowly,

Not saying a single word,

Putting her lips upon my neck,

Delivering me into an unearthly bliss.

I could die right now,

And I wouldn’t even care,

It all would be worth that kiss,

Just that one single solitary kiss.

Form the lips of a demon,

Who stole my passion,

And set me free.
