Breaking Oblivion

By pureevil8

Come to me my old enemy sleep,

And wrap me in your warm embrace,

Bring to me those wonderful nightmares,

Everything that I seek,

Always so close but forever beyond my reach,

Tempting tauntingly and ambiguous prefects,

Burning so deeply within these walls,

Black hot flame so furious and unforgiving,

Raging, maddening, soothing,

The touch of beautiful death,

Like the razorblade wings of an angel,

Bleeding waves like consciousness,

And if you stand on the edge,

With the right kind of eyes,

You can see that place where the water breaks,

And roles back into oblivion.
