Before you've even known life,

You try to end it soon,

Without a thought of after life,

A razor in your hand,

A torment in your head,

The confusion,

The sorrow,

The insanity of reason,

All crashing down at once.

Sitting upon your bathroom floor,

The edge of the blade,

The edge of reality and of life,

Pressed firmly against your wrist,

A million thoughts in your head,

You want to do it,

Or maybe you don't,

Questions asked over and over again,

Don't seek comfort in escape,

Don't go before you've been,

I write the words in sympathetic experience,

And not from hypocritical self deceit,

Don't waste the chance you're given,
