A Taste of Bliss

By pureevil8

As the cool night air,

Whispers through the willow trees,

And the creatures of the night,

All came out to play,

We were there together in silence.

High in the sky above was Luna,

Gazing dreamingly down upon our souls,

Bringing radiance to the darkness,

Shedding light upon our passions,

Ecstasy was all around us,

As we were to become one in the night,

Locked in a deadly embrace of passion,

Nothing in the universe could touch us.

I could see the brilliance in your eyes,

And feel your warm moist breath upon my neck,

As you came so very near my frail heart,

I almost felt a breath of life,

Then…

As I touched your soft skin,

You leaned forward and pressed your lips upon mine,

And the world stood still,

Time stood still,

And for a brief moment…

There was no melancholy in my life,

And a great bliss became forever,

But forever was over in a second,

So I must have another kiss,

Just one more taste of bliss.
