I hate that I have let you go,

I hate that I still love you so,

I hate how much I miss your kiss,

And how it filled me with heavenly bliss,

Every look a new surprise,

And I sit here wondering how,

How could I have let you go,

I love you this you surely know,

I hate the jealousy that rises,

I wear new masks and disguises,

To hide the pain in my jealous eyes,

Saying I don’t miss you would just be lies,

I hate that I put you in so much pain,

Knowing I hurt you put me in disdain,

But know that you have hurt me too,

But I never broke my I love you,

I said forever and I meant it to,

So forever is how long I’ll love you,

Whether or not you love me to,

My love for you will always be true,

I hate that we’re so close yet so far away,

Do you want me to go or do you want me to stay,

I hate that these next few words are true,

That no matter who I’m with I’ll always love you,

Yes I’m happy with this girl you see,

But nothing will change what‘s between you and me,

Faithful is what I am planning to be,

My love won’t come between her and me,

I hate that I feel the way that I do,

But I will never deny that I love you!
