Fighting or not?

I need to look from the past
Surely the human race
would never last

This must be the end of humanity
This, Thus, including,
My sanity

This isn't quite right
There is something wrong
With such a sight

Lurking in the darkness below
But I see a light
A small soft glow

The only reason they stay
Is to pick us of
As they would prey

It's a voice we all hear
Telling us to run
And we do... In fear

They jump to attack
Though we shouldn't
We fight back

We must fight
Will our whole might

We see these ape like creatures
With such normal features

You wonder:
Are they just here
To see us cowwer in fear?

They will never hold out
I know this,
Without doubt

But i must then ask,
Why am i writing?
When i sould be fighting???
