Corrupt World

By goingnowhere

Corrupt world falls in on me

Filling my lungs with black cold water

Drowning, sinking deeper into the Earth

Corrupt world suffocating me, breaking, crushing my lungs

Can’t breathe, I can’t breathe, help,

Lessen the blow, lift the world onto my shoulders

Take the weight of the corrupt and hold it close

Warn those who might try to take it from me

This responsibility it’s on my shoulders now

The fate of a corrupt world falls in on me
