Never: A Long Time Indeed

By maliceman

Even though you're here with me
I still feel so alone
The cold shoulder that you're giving me
Chills me to the bone

I'd love to see your face
And I'm dying for a smile
But you have a habit
Of turning inches into miles

All my thoughts and feelings
Seem not but words upon a line
They may seem perfect now
But they will only fade in time

Kind of like the love
I felt for you back then
I can't say I'm smarter now
But I'll never love again

But you can't give up. I know being heart-broken is the worst feeling a human could possibly feel but just give it some time man. I'm sure someone else will come around.
