Welcome to Hell

By goingnowhere

I can feel something wrapping around me

Feathers, I think

I open my eyes and He is there

Holding me tightly, as close as possible

I’m wearing what I died in

Worn-out shoes, faded jeans

A recently blood-soaked shirt clings to my torso

He is wearing, what He always wears

Tight black pants

No shoes, no shirt

Just His black angel wings

Caressing me, keeping me warm

Hello, He says

His deep voice washing over me

Hello, I repeat

I look around

There is no one else here

Wherever here is

He looks into my eyes

Opens His mouth to say something
