Overdose

By draco5445

Overdosing is the quiet way to go
You feel no pain as you slip from the world
The drugs slowly shut your body down
Killing you from the inside
Destroying you life force
Silencing you forever

Overdosing takes away the pain
It takes out the sorrow away
The heart break is gone
Your life comes slowly to a stop
Death comes closer and closer
All emotions leave you but an inner peace

As the drugs kick in
Your body goes numb
Your heart rate changes for the worst
Your muscles relax
The mind slowly shuts down

Everyone who pushed you this far feels guilty
Everyone who tried to help cries
They all feel like they could have done more
But your in hell laughing
because now they hurt like you did

Beautiful. I agree with Dark Dawn. NEVER give up. We are strangers but we are here for you.
