Day by Day

By jjrh187

Time will go by day by day.
That's when life, just ticks away.
We don't know what to do, or what to say.
It feels like a game, that I don't want to play.

Some of the people do what it takes.
To live their life, without the mistakes.
It's like a habit, not all of us can break.
It just makes you feel, like you're a disgrace.

I have this knife stuck in my chest.
They say if removed, I might bleed to death.
I say that I have nothing that's left.
So just pull it out, it would be for the best.

Until they do, I just live in pain.
Day by day, I have nothing to gain.
People try to tell that I'm not to blame.
I say it doesn't matter, it all feels the same.
