These Thoughts Remain

By decayofme

If I die now i would be happily content
I cant take back the words you never meant
Softly singing the prayers of my young
The arrow just missed the black of my lungs

Treachery, treachery take my hand
Leave my remains to sink into the sand

My soul goes up to the blinding light
And falls back down to the dark of the night
Cremation of others into the sea
Fills my guilt up, entirely

Mistaken, mistaken thoughts of mine back then
Dreaming of what it'd be like to love again

Tired sadness is the worst kind. You feel defeated. But turning it into a poem always helps.
