My Almost Lover,

My love, this is goodbye. This is my bittersweet goodbye to the man who I considered my equal. This is the sorrowful goodbye to the man who lit me up with life again, only to snuff it right back out. I pray you find whatever you’re looking for and I won’t stop praying for you. Maybe one day, when I have singled out and destroyed any remnant of my love for you, we can become friends again.
