Dying in your Sleep

By Inzlo

I've heard some people talk and say things like
"at least he went peacefully" or
"When I die I want to die in my sleep, so there is no pain"...

Well I'd laugh in their faces and push them aside
If they had only been there with me the night that I died

Dying in your sleep is not peacefull at all
You just lie there in pain unable to call

You can't open your eyes or scream or cry
you know that soon you'll be covered in flies

I've never felt so alone, not that I can recall
like when they found my body as stiff as a wall

I heard a voice say "Well he's in a better place"
YOU DON'T FUCKING KNOW, CAUSE YOU'VE NEVER BEEN IN MY PLACE!

I just wish I could have lived to tell you about it...
