Dying Embers

By HumanMonstrosity

Endless sighs held by silent walls in this night veiled existence as the bleak morning light reminds me of days long gone. Almost teasing me as if the sun was never meant for my eyes. Embittered by dreams that end in tragedies. Withered are these rivers of the heart, only wishing now for peace of mind. Lead astray by a feeling that was never really there, missing your sweet embrace. Trapped here in this masquerade of  loneliness. When words have all been said, and tears have all been shed, we are nothing more than dying embers in the rain
