Lost Hope

Wake me from this nightmare, for every sin a scar
Hell is all around me thus heaven is afar
Searching for the answers, the answers to this life
Day is but a memory, cursed in eternal night
no hope is left within me and hollow is my soul
to this i have descended, no exit from this hole
I sit here trapped in darkness, never to be found
no light has shined upon me, no angel's trumpets sound
cursed here in this sorrow, shackled to my pain
for every aching moment I have myself to blame
No one to hear my weeping, my prayers go ignored
faith brings no forgiveness from an unforgiving lord
