as i lay here to rest hoping for a new day,
trying to erase you from memory,
bitter thoughts come to mind,
now sleep brings relief,
but your still here in my dreams,
will you just leave!

I'm hoping, to fall far from here,
to slip into a new dream,
but you consume me,
and i can't run away,
I am afraid!

why can't I wake up?

wake me from this hell!

quit haunting my dreams,
