Resonance

By eske

Like a bell, vibrant.
My heart hits against my cage.
It wants to get out, to die.
Lies, set my insides to fire.
Ash is painful under the skin.
I fall into my insides, sadly.
I've always hoped to know, the truth.
So run from me, I won't follow you.
Why do roses have thorns?
"Because they're tired of bitches like you cutting them."
