Paper Butterflies

By Guttercat

I think... that when we're born, we have little paper caterpillars in our hearts.

As we grow, they spin their little paper cocoons & sleep for a while.

Then one day, little paper butterflies with little paper wings emerge.

& on their wings are written words.

Some have the word happy,
Some have the word sad,
Some have the word angry,
Some have the word mad.

Some have nice words... others, not so nice.

I think... I think my little paper butterflies, the ones with the word happy written on their wings, flew away a long time ago.

I don't think I'll ever find them again.

Our "Happy" butterflies must have run away together. I think this is very creative. I like it alot.
