Mists in the Mountains

By JingaBelle

we drive through swirling mist
that moves in a way that makes us wonder
if it lives in some magical way
the mass of mist twists and turns
and wraps itself around the mountains' curves
it moves up and down and nothing stops its adventure
it plays and frolicks on its way
bits stop and look at us and the rest beckon it on
bits stop to check every crevice of its route
again the rest beckons it on
and at times it throws snow at us
like confetti
i look at you and wish we could just stop
lay back in the solitude
watch the adventure unfold
