Touch and Seek

By JingaBelle

When I walked through the door
I saw it in your eyes
I know this game too well
I play the part
you play yours, too
in a scene so worn and tired
I wear my sex boldly
you worship it
never seeing past my costume
to the little girl all dressed up
in mommy's bedroom clothes
she tries so hard to be
loved, wanted, savored
she can never quite believe
love truly comes from within
not from someone else
I keep the girl locked deep inside
so we can play the game
of touch and seek
that empties out my soul
you want me more and more
beg me, crave me, want me, need me
and i just feel sick inside
hearing the cries of the girl
and your touch makes me purr
in tones that make you believe
i am all yours completely
i play the game so well
i know how this works
i say everything you want to hear
and when it's done I walk away
you call and there's no ring
you wonder what you've done
as if I've vanished
you think I am your fantasy
but I know the truth
I am the little girl
who created the sex goddess
to keep her safe and warm
to keep you always at arm's length
the little girl doesnt want you
the sex goddess just wants to play
so we move on in search of what we cannot have
the man who sees past the goddess
who can love the little girl
who understands our strange dance
and doesn't run away
