The Dark
By Nightmare_Evil
Darkness is the pathway
To all which is we don't know
Words are abuse too,
Hitting, stinging blows fall upon me.
You are so scared of what you don't know.
Come join me in the dark.
I'll try not to hurt you.
As you hurt me.
Since I'm just a doll,
Incapable of biting back.
Everyone wants to play.
Throw me away when you're through.
No one loves you,
As no one loves me.
It's all just a game
A plot to drive you crazy.
And I will find you.
As you cringe under your covers.
I'm your torn, broken doll.
I'm the center of your soul.
You can not hide.
I will find you.
You're just a childhood fantasy.
Who's playing with who now?

Beautifully desolate...there's a definite deep meaning in this poem - the cringing pain everyone feels at one time or another, and it may have been another poem by you, when the pain drives you heard or/and cold on the inside - when your the heart begins

A person sometimes breaks your heart and it is so hard to let go, even after all the pain they caused. Great poem!
