Super Imposed

By CjPsychotic

The house fronts crumbled away,
Revealing the naked incarnates pinned in the nooks and crannies
Of Cedar Saviors.
The embrace was as cold and transparant
As the wind
That shuttled the crickets somber tune through the rivers
Of ripe sky.

When it all broke
We cautiously swept the rubble beneath the streets,
Although, the horrendous jet-black insect still clicked the pincers
That superceded his arm's reach.

Screeching metal wheels bellowed
The name of the necassary nutrients groping the ever changing list....
I question why they go and they question why I stay;
Neither are entirely subject to choice.

Veins in vain faultered
And I realized I was invited for the highest of awards.
Wrapped in night and gray
I was absolved by the show-
Unsure who the contestants were-or even if it had started at all.

A name-asexually decended from my own-galavanted across ear drums.
I arose with vigor and lept to the stage,
Only to be raped of dignity when
I addressed a hollow room.
Orchards of amethyst seats
Combusted, reforming as arrows
Of the brightest neon.

The letters that graced them spelled out my name,
Yet none pointed in an identical direction.
The fireless sun caged me with the pestilence of its paralitic gaze,
Stranding me as prey to a
Colorless Commentator.

The judge's verdict
Was predetermined by films
Containing my breath and
Written in adamantine clouds
With a stamp of his extravagant gavel.
Eyes of Blue, Green,
Orange, and
Red
Carried me away with the gentle beauty
Of a wedding,
Illuminating the words cateringly carved into
The moist flesh of bittersweet icing.

I knew this would all end in divorce, and
So it did...
But now I can only concentrate on
The nuptuals
Of another uncertain nomination.

Dude, this is wonderful. Right up my alley in subject and technique. This is just what I desiderate. Such intelligence...These are the musings of a true poet. And I'm honored to read them.
