The Recurring Dream of a Dedicated Procrastinator

By drop dead des

I'm always running to catch the sunset
Running -- can't catch my breath
The sky is on fire,
But I cannot see for all the trees
& when I reach the clearing
I find that I am already too late
The night is always a few steps ahead of me
