Freedom in the Surf

By j-rod

There in a beautiful place
all my worries there erase
no one yells and no one fights
all that matters is in my sights

Out on the surf is where I'm free
nothing matters, its only me
fuck relationships
and fuck the bills
fuck my job
I'm here for thrills

Here its just me and the tide
its from life, that here I hide
Wind whispers across my brow
Me and God, sit here right now
The tide comes in
I paddle some
I stand up and ride it
Damn, its awesome!

This is life
Screw the details
Its on that surf
that freedom in life prevails...
