Drown the misery

By demonofthefall

Back to the mystery.
A shadow cast over the once happy, smothering the sense of life instilled when “it” left.
The withered strings that held a head up, rotten to the core awaiting “that blow”
Yeah’ back to the mystery.
“what’s behind this cloud” I say.
Feverishly waving my fist at the storm, trying my hardest to keep the will to question without breaking down.
I wait.
My breath quickens unable to relax, I drop to my knees.
I hold my head in my hands, the salty, warmness traces my face.
I give up again.

( As I write this I feel, my words and cry, feel my words and my tears maybe enough tears will drown our burdens )
