Blood Lines

By sueseagull

As I carve your name into my arm,
I feel the blood, it still is warm.
As life is drained, straight from my heart.
Remember dear you played your part.
The blood it drips, drop by drop.
I pray to God to make it stop.
But he can't do this, it's up to me.
To stop this madness, and then be free.
For blood is life, and I am drained.
The numbness kills both life and pain
