Freedom

By NotMyOwn_20

Inside the solitude where nothing can decimate
that pain cannot seperate you
from the truth of your situation,
(the depression)
that causes the increase in darkness and confusion,
that clouds up your life and causes you to question
why you feel the pain that you feel
and why you won't heal
(there are too many wounds)

You realize the answer
so much faster than later, and a new day dawns
(in your mind)
through the fog of deception,
it breaks down that haze of disillusion
when you come to the conclusion
that you cannot continue
to live out these lies of the enemy
that so wishes your destruction,
that you cannot set yourself free
(so you choose that) instead
of dying for that false sense of security
the peace that you thought wouldn't hurt
anybody...
you decide to live and yet die
no longer for pain, but for that
sort of peace...
...that no one can explain.
