My own world

My own world

I close my eyes

and slip into another world

ive slowly been creating

through the years

a red orange sun…

hanging in an aquamarine sky…

that is slowly lowered

by a puppeteer at night

I live in a stone castle

that rest on a lime green hill…

from far away

the grass appears

dead and burned

but up close it thrives

all through the year

where the hill flattens out

just below

theres a mote

filled with a million koi fish

that never die

gargoyles

fly over head

keeping me safe

from any evil men…

Then at noon time

they meet me

by an old birch tree

and I read to them

while they eat.

when night comes

the sun slowly falls

and just before the

puppeteer sleeps

he covers my world

in a blanket filled with stars

and one giant moon…

I wander my castle

and the grounds

alone

always finding my way

in and out

of lifeless forest

unable to dream

wondering if someone

will find this place

and come explore with me
