(Piercing me)
Confusion reigns
And its all I can do to stay free

towards that cliff,
that destruction,
that darkness,

binding them,
taking them captive,
to slavery,
how can they not see?
It's been clear for so long
that freedom is not free,
but it was paid.
Love was nailed to a tree,
and yet they still stumble on in the dark...
