bleeding in february

By chrome arctic

i know the peace
it’s quiet, dark, and still
the decay can’t be viewed as active
over time it just shows
continuing in circular patterns
all of it means little now
even less when time evaporates
an empty expanse
anything that could help
is either too far away
or has already died
frozen shut eyelids
reckless desperation
further than getting used to demands
pierce through congealed walls
this deep, leafless, white, snow blinding landscape
no division of air from ground
a crimson strewn across february

thanks the stops and breaks in the wording is something i enjoy experimenting with. as for the random quality, there certainly is that, but part of that is taking a personal experience of myself, turning it a bit transparent, and placing it over a time and place where the wording is common. "dystopian Lingo" as i like to call it. like a human being living inside a metal box. just experimenting really. i just found that writing straight forward was boring for me, sounded like a diary, so why would i expect it to be a rewarding read for someone else? plus there's other elements such as design / photography and until only recently, experiments with sound which both fit ( i hope ), along with the poetry. a bit of a 3 front approach. i think i just made no sense.

Random thoughts aligned on one idea simply to evoke the emotion that was felt at the time. Random thoughts that have nothing on face value to do with the subject. Random thoughts that have everything to do with the state of the author. Random thoughts that shouldn't be analyzed but felt in the way they were organized, in the stops, in the choppy natural state of human thought. Random thoughts. That's what you remind me of. Sometimes, what people say to me is more profound than fifty two hours of editing one word to be perfect. Nice dude. Liked it. That's why I favorited you. You remind me of me.......:D smiley.
