Sounds of Nature

By dark_red_roses

The sky glows bright red and pink like the sea of red and pink roses in the garden across the road. The brilliant colors of sunset are now being sent to bed and covered by a blanket of stars. The moon is shining bright like a flashlight turned on in a dark room. The wind howls like a lonely wolf howling to the moon for company. The shutters bang against the side of the house to the beat of a ticking clock. A little girl cries to the thunder that roars like the mighty lion of the African plains. The lightning comes and each flash is as bright as the lights of heaven. The rain lightly hit the top of the roof and was calm and peaceful but when it picks up it is loud and uncomforting. All through the night are the sounds fo the storm and in the morning the sun comes out to play. The birds chirp, the kids play, lawns are being cut. The day progresses with the sounds of the day and when the sky glows bright red and pink the sounds of the storm are beginning. The cycle of nature, the colors so bright, the sounds of nature are here to stay, throughout the night, throughout the day.
