Waiting for you

My heart beats to the sound of your voice
The memory keeps it in tune yet slowly breaking knowing we’ll never be together again
Places and pictures make me smile and cry all at the same exact time
My heart beats in hope of you coming back again
My heart tells me to go on and life my without you, but deep inside I know I should wait for you
I’ll wait for you until I can
I’ll live my life as best as possible
Waiting, waiting
Until I can stand waiting no longer to the pain of my dying heart
