Darkest Hour
By ReddropX
And I waited in what seemed to be my darkest hour. Each second ticking, like rolling thunder, across a vast endless sky. Where was my eternal reward? I had forsaken all that stood before me just to have the secretive rendezvous my wretched soul screamed for in the night. Now all is lost and I cry for you to take me way o’ sweet oblivion. End this treachery and let me lie dormant in shadows until the day falls and I rise again to claim what is mine.

I like it. It says apocalyptic. Standing on the edge before everything you thought you loved is taken in with the tide. To wake up on the otherside of death. very good, write more.
