Darkest Hour

By ReddropX

And I waited in what seemed to be my darkest hour. Each second ticking, like rolling thunder, across a vast endless sky. Where was my eternal reward? I had forsaken all that stood before me just to have the secretive rendezvous my wretched soul screamed for in the night. Now all is lost and I cry for you to take me way o’ sweet oblivion. End this treachery and let me lie dormant in shadows until the day falls and I rise again to claim what is mine.
