A collision with fate

By dragonserpent

As I lay,
In that dark place,
The resounding moments of infinity,
Disappear into the night,
The quiet somber of tragedy,
So close,
It's cold,
So cold,
The pulse of life steady subsides,
Fading like the echo of a forgotten sound,
No one is here,
No one will come,
It's cold,
So cold,
I'm dying.
Crying tears of red,
It seeps from my heart,
Mixing with the chill night air,
Consolidating with the pavement,
The pain no longer matters,
Memories,
Of a lifetime,
Flashing past,
Disappearing into the night,
My life,
My sorrow,
Shared with no one,
A collision with fate,
It's cold,
So cold,
As I lay here,
Here to die.
